possibly big problem with starter?

yes recently my starter went out on my 1995 eclipse gs-t. and i was wondering if you have to drop the engine to get to the starter on the turbos , i have tried to do some research but havnt been able to find much information. any information would help on starters and flywheels !

The manule says to remove the air cleaner then remove the upper starter mounting bolt, raise the vehicle, disconect the solinoid wires, support the starter and remove the lower bolt and the starter should be out.:D
