Question on swapping motors on a mirage(sort of)

Okay, so I have a Eagle Summit... Not sure if you've heard of it, but it's pretty much a crap version of the Mitsubishi Mirage. So I was curious what's the biggest size engine you can put inside of it? Any and all help will be appreciated greatly... I would really like to get my car running again soon... Thanks in advance!

RE: Question on swapping motors on a mirage(sort of)

I used to have a 93 eagle summit....... my advice is to not invest a single dollar into performance on this car. It is too costly to mod for very little performance. If your into low buck performance id go with an SR20 powered car such as an early 90's sentra se-r, NX2000, or slightly heavier G20. I have had two of these cars and they both were great!!! plus if you ever want to do a swap, about 3 grand gets you a sr20de-t powered rocket! If you have no choice but to keep this Summit, id get a direct replacement engine, they mostly came with an 85hp engine i believe, but there were some with a 125hp engine as well, look for that one if youre stuck with it.
