Default Rustling abnormal engine (or turbine)

Hello there,
Can someone help me about the engine trouble???.....
Have an Outlander2.0DID-2007 and recently acquired a whizzing of the engine. It shows up like this:
Warm engine .... more than 2000rpm ... and leg speed in acceleration. The normally hiss from the turbine becomes a strong whir. The sound is similar to that as I go with the windows open. Has anyone seen this problem?
Thanks.

Hi. How many miles are on vehicle? Maintenance history, etc.
Turbo engines are very fussy as regards to 'clean'oil and level. These newer cars don't have much capacity. Do not run low!
Synthetic of proper kind is essential. And, I don't know oil change intervals listed for your European car, but do not go beyond 5K.
I would go for a fresh oil and filter change and see results, first.

Do you let car warm up for 30 seconds at least before driving off.(cold engine)?
