Short Shifters and installation?? Help >???

i have a 98 eclipse GS and i dont like the feel of the stock shifter. I want to get something shorter. Can anybody reccommend me a good cheap short shifter? Ive looked on ebay but everyone is telling me they are garbage and i shouldnt get one on there? Is installation easy? Can i do this myself? Here is a link to a short shifter that ive been thinking about purchasing. Give me ur opinions on it before i purchase.
thanks

I dont have any information for you on that perticular product. However, i can back up that 99% of eBay car parts are garbage, no matter what it is.

The brands i trust are the ones i know. Fidanza and B&M. If its not a brand name i wont buy it. Thats just me though. In the car world, you really dont want to cheap out on your parts, thats just not a good idea. Always remember, you really do get what you pay for.
