sluggish at 3grand and higher ?

Default sluggish at 3grand and higher ?

my 1991 1g eclipse 2.0 started runnin bad at 3 grand or higher it seems too lose all power i checked the plugs wires maf and intake for air leaks. when it happened it jolted and started to miss and when you hit about 3 grand it almost sounds like it starving for air or getting too much any help?

did you replace the plugs and wires because thats what it sounds like to me. Sounds like your car is misfiring. Does it still do it if you slowing go up in the rpms too or only when your flooring it

huh, are you talking about the thing on the intake, ist that on the 3g's

i found the problem my timing belt jumped teeth on the cam gears how it did that i dont know but its fixed now

yea im about to send this car packin i have another 90 1g with a 1.8 alot slower but alot less problems thanks for the help
