Within 2 miles from a cold start the Automatic transmission temp light goes on. Even after cooling the car for ten or more minutes it still does not go off. Although I try to get off the road as soon as the light comes on it is shifting fine A few months ago I changed the fluid with Dextron 3 ATF so the fluid is good but slightly overfilled. I do know that the fluid was changed only once or twice by the previous owner and that was at least 70,000 ago. the car has 210,000. I wonder if the filter is clogged preventing circulation. Any other ideas?
