tie rod ends. help?
 

alright failed inspection today cuz of these damn things. they wanted to charge me 600 dollars to replace the tie end rods inner and outer on my 02 lancer oz... i looked up the parts. and they aint too expensive, from what i've seen. how easy is it to do myself? it dont really seem to hard (seen a couple how to vids). and i think they ripping me off charging that much.. what u guys think.. helppppppp

How many tie rods are we talking here? Just one side? They can be alittle tricky to replace and will take some time. That price does seem a bit high though. Might want to call around and check other prices

its also going to require a front wheel alignment when they are done (~40 bucks)
