Towing with an RVR
 

I just bought a 2016 RVR and was under the assumption I could tow a tent trailer with it. I hear some people talking about transmission etc. I drive a standard and am looking to tow the smallest one, about 1,500 lbs. Is this an issue? I called the dealer and he said should not be an issue but we have to tell you that it is not rated and warranty is void if anything happens. Just don't know much about this stuff and would rather ask people who are out doing these type of things.

I may want to tow a mini teardrop camper. Around 900 lbs. Am in Canada as well.

I guess if I head east to the prairies I should be OK but maybe not the mountains?
