hey i got a 93 eclips and it acts like it is stuck in drive it wont down shift or shift into over drive but runs fine when it is going and dont slip it wont manualy shift it only gos in revurse and drive i need to know if it needs a new trans or is it maybe something else it also has a two prong plug at the top of the trans that has two wires going to it that are cut if you know what them plugs are what are they and what are there purpuse thank you

does it die if coming to a stop? if so, its the 'torque converter clutch solonoid'. And any wires that are CUT cant be a good thing. Repair them.

hey i emailed you back dont know if you got it ole yea got to love the logo there lol hey it dont cut out or miss or anything runs rather great just acts like your takeing off out of 2nd or low drive is there something that controls the shifting like i said it dont or hasent ever sliped or anything
