Not sure what happened. When I unlock the passenger door from the outside the driver door would also unlock. Now I have to manually unlock the driver door, what could have caused that?

 

i just got a 99 and you can lock or unlock all the doors from the 2 front doors i believe, so when the driver unlocks his door all of the others unlock also, same for passenger i believe,

 

try putting the key in and turn it once to unlock that door and back to the position the key was in when you put it into the door and turn it to unlock again. that should unlock both doors. have to do it in two quick motions know what i mean? unlockunlock........ like unlocking the door twice without pulling the key out. and if that doesn't work just smash the window and get in dukes of hazard style.
