i have recently upgraded from my 91 3000gt sl to my new 95 vr4. all was well and good until one ride home it had a hickup. the rpms dropped from 2500 to 1700. but only on the tach. physically the motor didnt lose any speed. severe loss of power and misfire. car still builds boost but seems as though it loses about a third of the rpms. seems electrical. due to the fact that just as fast as it comes. it goes away and runs like a dream. sometimes it last for 2 seconds and others 20 minutes. most of the time it is about 5 minutes and comes and goes. just had the ecu rebuilt and the problem still comes and goes. has ANYONE ever seen or hear of anything similar to this problem?
