Whats the biggest rim you can get on a 2g Eclipse without modifying anything?

19's will fit but they will rub....biggest with no wheel rub is a 18" rim 7.5"wide........225/40/R18 are the size tires to use....thats my setup and I have no problems

19's can fit with a spacer, or if you get the correct offset, but they'll stick out from the fender wells quite a bit, and mess up you steering. I think 20's will hit the side molding. To tell you the truth though, some wide 17's are gonna be good enough if you're going for road racing or anything like that.

Correct. I run 235/45/17's with BFGoodrich KDW (old tread) with a 17x8 wheel. NO rubbing, no fender rolling. Offset is +42
