Default Touch-up Paint

I bought a 1995 Lancer GSR (Mirage LS Coupe in the US) about 2 months ago, and I've finally got time to fix the worn paint on the trim. The first owner of the car lived right on the coast, so I assume the salt and sand slowly stripped the paint. As you can see, its in pretty bad shape:

I asked the salesman at a car accessories store what he thought I should use, and he suggested tyre blackener. I tried this, but it really didn't do much except darken the worn area slightly. Does anyone know what sort of paint I should be using? Cheers.

that happened to my old eclipse rs... i actually just used some flat black trim paint... you should be able to pick it up at any auto parts store, like napa or auto zone... just mask off the area around the trim pieces and paint it

not a prob... and trust me after you paint it it'll look 100% better! just make sure you mask it all off real well... and give it plenty of time to dry
