4G93 EFI conversion gone bad
 

after i blew the engine of my lancer 1995 (4G92 motor), i changed the motor to a 4G93 (carb type) but retained the EFI of the original engine courtesy of a crafty mechanic. it worked quite well for about two years but now it has all gone bad. i cant find my old mechanic and no one else seems to understand what he did. the computer doesnt respond to MUT and i have no other way of knowing what is wrong. now, i cant even get the timing and idle-ing right.</P>


if there is anyone out there who had a similar experiemce as i had or can share a few insights on what might have gone wrong, i hope to hear from you SOON. i hope to solve this problem without having another engine swap.</P>
