Cd Changer
 
I just got my eclipse...it has a radio/tape player in it.... it has the buttons for a cd player... but there is no cd changer in my car.... does it have hook ups for a cd changer in my trunk...
???
i found a cd changer on line an oem part for my 95 gsx now i need to know where to look for the hook up for it in my car seeings that my head unit is cd compatible. any idea where to look let me know .and thanks in advance for your help.

Yes, there is a harness ready to install the changer. The harness will only fit a Mitsubishi changer. I never found a converter harness for Mitsubishi to enable other changers to work.

Instead of just getting a changer and all of that, i would just get a new cd player and changer, or a cd in dash cd changer, or mount the changer inside the car instead of the trunk. (easier to change cds if needed):)

well i know for home audio you can with a aux onto a cd player or receiver and have it go into one for the auto. I would say so that it would but it could be a little tricky if you have a console or you can't get cords out of the deck. But i'm not sure, but to me they are pretty much the same, mainly used for power output though.
