'99 Eclipse GS-T...big stereo, Greddy turbo timer, etc, etc....I don't drive the car all the time..it sits way more than I drive it..went to drive it one day and the battery was dead....jumped it off my Jeep then took it to work and put it on the charger there...Damn CEL is on now..Why???

yea man go to any auto store like autozone, advance, or o'reilly's etc. and have them check it for you with a scanner... it's free

Thanks for your expert adviceguys! [:'(] Neah, j/k! I just figured that this may have happened to someone else who may have jump started a car off another vehicle before cuz it kicked on as soon as I fired it up off my Jeep. Itruns good. I work at a Ford & Mercury dealership and I think one of my mechanics has the program for Mitsubishi because he is a former "foreign car" mechanic so I'll hit him up in the Spring on it.

 

Reset the ECU by removing the neg battery terminal for a min
