first gen body mods
 

Ive had my 91 eclipse since 96 and never did anything but drivve it. Now I want to modify it I have a 4g63 motor to replace my 4g37 but I also want put a body kit on it....problem is, the body kits that are most appealing are for a 92-94 not my 91. The people selling me the kit say its possible with certain mods....My 91 has flip up head lights and the hood to match them....The 92-94 is all the same except it has no flip up lights ...my question is...Can i make 92 headlights/hood work with my 91? I would appreciate any info on this as I want to install a vadar front bumper.....I also will have a tight 2.0 4g37 non turbo motor/manual tranny for sale (110,000 miles but still top notch CHEAP,) any answers can be emailed to corysibertson@yahoo.com

Please dont put a body kit on a 1g they look horrible w/ one and the 4g37 isn't a 2.0 its a 1.8.

yea dont put that body kit on there. It is god aweful looking. But to answer your question, yes you can convert to the fixed headlight setup. I wouldnt even bother though.
