RE: front license plate
order a front license plate bracket for your mitsu..probably from the parts dept. at the dealership..it should come with the hardware to mount it.
|
RE: front license plate
actually thats what youll need to do buy a front mount liscense plate holder from the factory and it comes with all the hardware to install.....i have one from my 06 i never used....just bc here in PA we dont need a front

RE: front license plate
do i have to drill into the bumper, it just makes me scared to do that
|
RE: front license plate
zip ties
|
RE: front license plate
haha that must look horrible but maybe ill pick them up at walmart
|
RE: front license plate
crazy glue lol id go with shreffs idea and make it look nice..
|
RE: front license plate
no they dont look too bad. Just use clear ones, and cut off the excess. This path will cost you about 2 dollars. or you can do what shreff said and go order an overpriced plate bracket from satan.
or you can just drive around without it, and as long as youre not breaking any other laws, you wont get pulled over because most cops dont care. And if they DO decide to give you a ticket, its a fix-it ticket. You just have to put a plate on the front of your car when you go to the court house, and the ticket dissapears............At least in oregon. |
RE: front license plate
usually i think they bolt up in the bumper kinda from the bottom up.
|
RE: front license plate
gum works too
gum yes? jk |
RE: front license plate
actually ive seen the ones the bolt up from the bottom, they have frames for that type of install, and if you dont want it you can take it down and not have to see the bolts, i might go with that

RE: front license plate
you will have to drill holes in the bumper cover to use the factory plate bracket.
HUGE holes, as the bracket is held in place by large rubber expanding crush-nuts. |
RE: front license plate
ill probably just get the undermounting bracket, i saw one at advanced auto parts
|
RE: front license plate
you can always just take a hammer to the liscence plate, completely f***ing it up, and keep it in your trunk. if you get pulled over tell the cop your dad backed into you and you just fixed the bumper and were gonna put the plate on that night
