RE: Headers?
The ceramic notation means that they have a protective coating over them to do a couple things- protect from the elements better (corrosion), keep the heat inside the tubes of the header better rather than radiating throughout the engine bay. The ceramic finish is nice looking too, it's not a really "bright" chrome, but it looks better I think. Personally, I would get the ceramic coated- which I did have on my car.

will the cold hurt it i live in michigan thats one of the things want to find out!

RE: Headers?
The cold should not have any adverse effects on the header, I ran plain old steel headers on my camaro and they were fine. I would definately look for a ceramic coating if they salt the roads in Michigan. Whatever you do, do not wrap your header(s)- most companies will void your warranty and tell you not to do it also. Chat with the manufacturer that you are looking to purchase from and see what they recommend, but I would say definately ceramic coated.
