HP

Hey,
I was wondering what the HP was on a 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse RS. the 2.4Liter, 4cyl, standard engine.
And If I added a full flowmaster Exhaust system, with an Injen Muffler, the AEM V2 intake, how much of an estimated HP am I running now?

Also, I was looking on buying a full T3 Turbo kit. What is the average HP gain for my car if a turbo kit was installed and tuned around 9psi?

Thanks,

Chris

ok stock....your lookin at 150hp to the crank 100-105 to the wheels....with those mods about 110whp. My brothers ran 108whp with an injen intake.

RE: HP

no tell that guy to go play in traffic lol...you have a 4g64 motor...also good for turboing but not as good as the 4g63....hp gains will depend on turbo size and boost and supporting mods. www.tearstone.com used to make a kit for your car.

RE: HP

you need to make sure your block can handle the boost as well...and i would say 200+whp with some supporting mods.

I know for a fact what your car will do with a turbo since I had the same car and was heavy in the research. SO here we go your stock block ca actually handle 15PSi providing all is well and good there 15 PSI you will get a little over 300HP at the wheels. at 9 PSI you will see about 275 at the wheels I know this because tearstons kit back before it was known as tearstone was once known as A.A.I. and they only ran them at 9 PSI cause the cars were still new back then and no one pushed it to the limits. a guy who was kindof the first guy to run the kit in his RS was I think known as Surfneclipse and he did 273WHP at 9 pounds then everyone to follow was in that ballpark till tearstone came into A.A.I. and they started really pushing for more. So there is your answer
