i need a clutch
 
hi every one i have a 1999 eclipse RS and i need to know what the best clutch i can get for my car i do have a little bit of mods and i am using a fidanza flywheel i do take my car to the track but my clucht wont grab once it heats up and one more thing is does anyone know what i can do to my transmission to make it stronger becauce my transmission i also broken it makes a nasty noise like something is grinding together but i can still drive the car and shift all my gears with out a problem so can somebody help me i would appriciate it very much

if its grinding going into gears then its probably just the bad clutch. It may be syncro's. But since your clutch is bad then id guess that. As for as what to get, your car really isnt pushing too much power so maybe go with a simple ACT 2100 or just get another stock clutch.

i put another stock clutch and replaced the pressure plate and it did the same thing on the track so do u think the act clutch is good enought to handle a turbo setup i need a clutch that will last

the sycro's are probably worn in the transmission then. Honestly rebuilding a tranny isnt worth the hassle, its just as easy to buy a tranny from a junk yard and replace the old one. And the 2100 will be fine for the amount of power you would generate with a turbo kit.
