Help..Mitsubishi Lancer Instrument Cluster issue.
Hi All,
I am kind of stuck in deep s**t, it would be great if somebody could help me out here. I own a Mitsubishi Lancer Petrol Version SLXi 2001 Model (Indian Version). I bought the car thinking of having fun with it but things went from bad to worse.
I noticed that the Check Oil Indicator was not lighting up during the ignition and the RPM guage just stops working all of a sudden and come back to life after some time. I ignored it for the time being until the engine seized due to a sudden leak of oil while driving.
I had my engine rebuild done, and still no Check Oil Light, one of my friend advised that it might be a minor issue with a blown bulb. I investigated the issue and found that most of the push connector on the plastic PCB was already worn out. I had to buy a 15 pin connector to connect the instrument cluster again.
Now my problem is The check engine light, Check Oil light wont light up. The Fuel warning light also stays on even if there is enough fuel.
Can anybody help me in pointing out which unit controls the check engine, check oil and the fuel lights?
Regards,
Sathya
