P0335, p0340

Hi, I have a 2002 Dodge Stratus Coupe 3.0 engine.(Dodge's version of the Eclipse I believe) I know it's made by Mitsubishi and given to Dodge that's why I'm here...I'm getting both P0335 and P0340 codes. Most recently as far as repairs to the car was a distributor, cap, and rotor replacement due to a stall that the car couldnt recover from(no start). I was told the distributor was new and not rebuilt but not the brand name of it. The car has terrible gas mileage and I hear my fuel injectors ticking/clicking(or however you want to explain it) From what I understand my engine doesn't even have a external camshaft position sensor and that it's built Inside the distributor? Could my timing belt be off? Is my timing chain/belt loose, mistimed, worn? Could the power wires be damaged or shorted out? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!!
I want to add that I had neither of these codes, or the ticking injector noise prior to the distributor swap. It all came about after that.

Sorry if this isn't in the right section. I wasn't sure where to put it and general seemed fitting.

Yes, the CPS is built into the distributor. Obviously whoever told you it was new is lying. Those codes are specific to the CPS. Replace it.

So the crankshaft position sensor is build into the distributor. Replacing it would mean replacing the distributor...again?
