Aftermarket Cold air Intake Install

Hi All,
I have a 93 Eclipse 1.8 A/T am trying to install aftermarket air intake system.
Does anyone know how to bypass(install resistor or jumper) the VAF in the original filter canister so it can be removed has a six pin connector?
