exhaust for 2.4 outlander

hello i was hoping to get some advice on muffler selection. I am porting and polishing out my throttle body for my outlander (10') this weekend and will be installing a Takeda CAI. I want to get a bit more flow out of the muffler than the stock pipe. With 2.25 piping i am not going to do a cat back or headers... it is a 2.4 there is really no point, i just want a bit more out of the car and better response. My question is, in the past i have used Thrush welded mufflers... granted these have been on V8's not 4cyl. I do not want a loud vehicle, just maybe something to let me know it is there when i put my foot in it. I hate the rice sound and would rather have no sound vs that rice sound. My question is, what, if any muffler would you recomend. I can do all the welding and can mod/bend pipe pretty much as i need it, just need to know what you would sugest. I will prob have to use a resinator tip to knock the sound down a bit. no one seems to do anything to the outlanders under the hood or in the form of exhaust so maybe some of the lancer/galant guys can chime in one what sounds nice on their rides.

Thanks!
