exhaust help
 

Need some opinions here. Back on the hondas i always used 2.25 on my NA cars and 3.00 inch on my boosted ones.

But what sizeshould i use on my 2001 4 cyl? Could I get more power and a better tone with a bigger diameter piping since it's a bigger displacement than a 1.6 or even 1.8 engine.

This is my daily driver and i just want it to sound and look good. I dont have any major plans for it other than dropping it, putting wheels on it, and doing the whole exhaust intake thing.

Invidia makes a good exhaust. Dont go any bigger than 2.5"

also has anyone had good results (tone/sound wise) just by taking the stock muffler off where it unbolts and having a pipe welded to an aftermarker muffler?
