Exhaust question??

At this moment I have an Apexi N1 exhaust with stock size piping. I am trying to decide what type of exhaust I want next because I am about to upgrade to 3" piping. Do any of you guys have other types of exhausts that you like or know of one you would highly recommend to me? I am happy with the N1, but I am just curious about other exhausts before I commit to the same exhaust again.

My next bet choice is RSR or Tanabe. Both come in the 3" flava and both put out. RSR is cheaper than the Tanabe though.

I haven't ever heard either of those exhausts. Are they loud or what do they sound like?

They are more performance based companies. Tanabe exhuasts really free up the power, and RSR is up there with it. I've only heard an RSR, and it sounds fairly close to the Apexi 3". Nice deep baritone sound. The Tanabe company is a legend in Japan, Signal Auto and other big name shops use them exclusively in their drag and race cars. They're not like APC or crap like that.

oh ok....I looked both of them up. The Tanabe looks as if it tends to be a bit quieter and more of a rumble. The RSR seems to be almost exactly the same as the Apexi N1 but doesn't have the annoying loudness in high RPM's. I think I'm gonna get the Tanabe and see how well I like it.

the "Tanabe" on my 99 and it sounds good. to be honest with you. like i have always said, flowmaster has the best exaust systems, and they make them for any size engine.
