i have an 02 lancer oz witha cai and an exhaust(thats it) . how much hsp do u think new headers will produce???

Header... no S at the end. you have only one. they will get you like 15Hp to the wheels for a header.

and its just a direct bolt on from my old one. im not too confident about installation. will my local mechanic know how, cause there arentmany tuning places i can go to that specializein mods.

Yeah if he's lucky, I dont think its worth the money.

i think mike meant all together with the cai and exhaust plus the new header he might hit around 15 extra hp... and dsm, if it's a n/a car, then headers would be the way to go if ur tryin to get increase as much hp as possible, they're totally worth it

N/A= Naturally Aspirated.In other words its not turbocharged or supercharged.

Just an advice I will go with a ecu, piggyback or something like that instead, a decent header let said dc go for $200+, so a ecu tuning with be much better with the 2 mod you got and will deliver more performance than the header.

or both,lol just get headers now, and then save up for a tune, even though I don't see why he would need a tune, might get some hp outta it, but idk if it'll be worth the money. and ya your local mechanic will know how to install those headers for you if you choose to go that route. it's just r/r and any local mechanic should be willing to do that for you
