Magnaflow

So since I can't get a turbo kit cuz i'm the typical "poor college student" and it would take me forever to get it not even counting install and tuning, i was thinking about re-doing my whole exhaust setup. I was thinking about getting something like this from Magnaflow:

http://www.magnaflowonline.com/catal...851ea7ab510e70

Think it really does that much better to your car? Because I wanted to get that and make it work with these long tube headers my friend put on his 2000 eclipse RS that i want to put on.

So cat back exhaust, long tube headrs, cam gears, pulley kit, throttle body kit. Hope soon.

What do you think about the exhaust?

RE: Magnaflow

Magnaflow is known for having a nice deep toned exhuast, if your looking for something with some noise then this isnt the exhuast but for good quality its nice.

A great site for your 3g aftermarket stuff is www.tearstone.com <<very good customer service as well

RE: Magnaflow

So if I wanted to get something like that, do you think its effective? Magnaflow states that the catback exhaust for the eclipse RS 2000 gives 19.9 horse. true? and also If it does do you think it would go good with some CMF headers?

even if your poor.... save the money.. like i said.. because once you go turbo.. alot of that stuff you bought earlier.. you wont use when you go to the turbo setup.

RE: Magnaflow

with that you need an cold air intake..

basicly... right now... your sucking in little air.. with the stock air intake.. and your letting out alot of air from your back... you need the same ratio to feel any power.. and if you were to get any gains.. it would be very small.. all the bolton mods will only get you maybe 30hp max unless you go supercharge
