Angry Throttle body reset or relearn procedure?

Hi everybody!! I was wondering if anyone could help me with my problem on my 2007 outlander 3.0. I had taken off the valve covers to get the back spark plugs done and decided to clean up the throttle body while I had everything out. Yup I had know idea that I wasn't supposed to mess with the throttle plate when cleaning it. So now I have the rpms idleing between 1500 and 2000 and not 750 like it was before. Is there a certain procedure on the 07 outti that I can perform to make it come down?
Any help at all would be greatly appreciated because happy wife happy life right?? Thanks everybody!!

The following works for most endeavors, evos and outlanders:

1. Perform this when engine is cold. Morning
2. disconnect negative battery terminal for about a minute
3. Reconnect negative battery terminals
4. Insert key turn to check mode (dont start it) leave it like that for a minute or two
5. Turn key to off mode and turn car on.
6. Let car run for 5 minutes.
7. Run car at low speeds on road max 25 mph for 5 minutes.
8. Then run car up to higher speeds
It will continue to relearn new position soon after

Well I tried yesterday but then the rain and coldfront moved in and it got bad. All I managed to do was turn it to the on position for 2 minutes, then turn it off and started the car. I let it idle for 6 minutes. I noticed it would climb up to 1800 rpms.
I drove it around at 25 mph for 15 minutes. But I have not gone faster than that. and today is looking pretty ugly out there.
But so far no change in idle. By the way thank you very much for your message, I really appreciate it. I'm still trying..lol!!!
