03 outlander a/c relay smoking hot
 

A/c has been intermittently acting up, just quits cooling. Has proper amount of charge, no blinking of the trouble light on the buttons, just quits cooling. Compressor clutch is not activated. Yesterday I noticed that the relay was extremely hot. Let it cool off and straightened the prongs out as they were a tad bent and plugged it back in, and the a/c worked again. But the relay is still getting hot. The wire to the compressor clutch is small gauge ,like 18 or so, it would probably melt if there was a short there, as well as the wires to the pressure switch. What else is connected to the relay that would cause such a load?
