12v outlet not working
 

Hey, my girlfriends mitsubishi outlanders 12v outlet dosent work, I checked in the papers it said fuse is number 9, fuse is okay, if I hit the side of the dash the light around it jumped on, but not sure if the outlet actually worked, I took it apart one cable was little loose after putting it back nothing happens, I checked the led which seemed really hot tho its not working..., I still need to check the outlet with a multimeter but any tips what could it be ? its a 2004 car
