Back up Camera for 2016 Outlander
 

Can anyone help me out? I am trying to install a Licence plate camera for my 2016 Outlander. The problem is I can't find the reverse wire to hook up the red wire to.
The backup lights are not in the hatch, they are on the lower part of the body and impossible to reach. Is there a reverse wire in the bundle that comes through the boot connecting the hatch to the roof?
Otherwise, is there a wire under the dash that I can hook into to allow the reverse to trigger the camera?

There is a signal wire for the reverse lights under the dash into the ETACS (fusebox), Best way to find it is with a multi meter, put car in reverse with ignition on (not running) and when you find a voltage take out of reverse to see if voltage disappears. If voltage is still there, then put back in reverse and move to another wire
