Installing RCA Adapter into stock head unit

RE: Installing RCA Adapter into stock head unit
Haha, ya, no kidding. Ok, I'll try it. Another thought I had was that the Auto Turn-On wire wasn't connected to a speaker wire. So I'm gonna switch that and check all of my connectionsand c if that helps at all. If not....I have no idea, I may just have to leave it on the floor of my trunk.

Ya, I figured that out. I called Tech support for Kenwood and they told me that. They also said the spark couldve caused a short in the amp. And I think they might be right cuz there's no power going to it whatsoever. I even undid everything and put it back in the position it was in when it actually worked. I'll prolly have to take it to the dealer near me and c if they can fix it. This sucks!!

^^^dusty's right, there's usually a 30-60 amp fuse under the hood on your main power wire, and chances of it blowing before the fuses one the amp are much greater. check there, the fuses at the amp itself, and if it isn't any of those, take it to an audio shop and have them bench test it.

Yup, checked both fuses, the one in the engine and the one on the back of the amp itself, both of 'em were intact. I'll prolly take it to a shop on Mon. Unless there's a fuse somewhere I don't know about.
