Questions about bluetooth mic/voice activation
 

Hello all. I'm new to the forums here.
I just bought a 2015 outlander sport 2.4l. There is an aftermarket touchscreen entertainment system installed and I, for the life of me, cannot get the voice activated features to work. Say for apple car play or something, or just pushing the voice command button on the steering wheel, speaking into the phone doesn't work nor does just trying to yell and figure out where the mic is in the cabin (LOL) I have zero experience with modern interior tech like this, and was just wondering if anyone had any experience with installing aftermarket entertainment screens/receivers and if the factory bluetooth mic works with them (or how I'd go about replacing it if it is broken somehow.) Thanks!
