420A with 2.4 bottom end

Default 420A with 2.4 bottom end

I have heard about doing a 2.4L block with the 2.0L head is that true that it can be done and if you can do it what do i need to accomplish this task? Anyone that can help please post back....

I think he means using a 2.4 block out of an avenger and then use the 420a head. The swap is not simple, there is alot more to do for not much of a gain. The 4g63 head would not even work in this combination.

it is possible it is the same thing as taking a srt4 motor and swaping it in. i have seen it done and its a tight fit but it can be done. also it is almost the same head an the srt4 its just hase more passage ways for the oil to go and such since it was designed for the turbo motor so your head should be a direct swap from what i understand. if you have any? let me know and i will talk to the guy i know who has done it and see what he says
