I recently rebuilt a 420a motor with 8.8:1 pistons for a turbo project. Got the motor running now but its has an idle loop and wont fall below 800 rmp. The loop is 800-1000 rmps. I have an exhaust leak but I don't believe it would cause this problem. Some much needed help would be appreciated. Thank you.
