will a dohc 4g63 head fit on a sohc bottom end?

you mean will a 4g63 DOHC fit on a 4G64 SOHC bock? yea a lot of peole do it... its basically like putting a stroker kit on a 4G63 motor.....

Are you sure cause i do believe the water jackets are different but i may be wrong.

they are but they can be swapped. the EVO head was just recently swapped onto the 4G64 block of the SOHC 3G eclipse a few months back

cheers peeps so if i have to change waterjackets etc, i guess i'm better off getting the whole engine and going with a full-hog evo transplant then?
