how to replace a clutch?

well my clutch is about gone now and i have to replace the dam thing! so if any one hase a good site or any info on how to do this it would be awsome! i know i have to pull the tranny and all this i can do i just need a little advice frome some one that knows what they are doing.

also ACT or clutchmasters stg 1! which can take a better beating

if you want the easy way... but with the least room to move. You can unbolt the tranny and slide it back and just remove the clutch and flywheel assembly and slite the tranny back into place and bolt everything up.

no. Its fairly strait forward... just unbolt it... and replace what is there.

well you can't go too far back because you have front halfshafts that are'nt going to allow for alot of room to get your hands in there.

Should be enough though.... right? Enough to get the clutch n flywheel assembly out.

so the clutch is just bolted to the fly wheel? or is the presure plate bolted to the fly wheel, and the rest just slides it to the tranny than you alighn it and re install the tranny?

so is this one of thoughs things that once you get in there you will pretty much see how things go together!

and for a clutch, it depends on what you have done to the car. i would probably go with an ACT 2100.

you are correct sir! i am going with act! i accually got a deal on a stg4 i am geting it for $760 shiped to my door, buying it on friday!
