ITS ME AGAIN AND SAME THING HAPPEN BUT WORST, MI CLUTCH PEDAL WAS STUCK TO THE FLOOR AND I COULDNT PUT IT ON GEAR.SO I HAD TO TURN OFF THE CAR AND PUT IT ON GEAR WHILE IT WAS OFF, THEN TURN IT BACK ON, BUT WHEN THE CAR WAS ALREADY ON GEAR I COULDNT SHIFT GEARS AND I HAD TO LIFT THE CLUTCH PEDAL WHITH MY FOOT.

RE: I THINK ITS CRANKWALK!!!!!!!!
check the pedal itself and see if there is anything there that would make it get stuck. it could be just some stupid mechanical problem. Have you noticed the oil light comming on at all during idle

RE: I THINK ITS CRANKWALK!!!!!!!!
You'll might want to also double check your clutch slave cylinder because your system works off a hydraulic assisted system.

RE: I THINK ITS CRANKWALK!!!!!!!!
OMFG OH NO NOT CRANKWALK!!!! AAAAAH!
Seriously, caps.... nah. Check your fluid reservoir. |
RE: I THINK ITS CRANKWALK!!!!!!!!
ORIGINAL: tx2u to set the record straight, crankwalk has nothing to do with your clutch pedal getting stuck. You'll might want to also double check your clutch slave cylinder because your system works off a hydraulic assisted system. |
RE: I THINK ITS CRANKWALK!!!!!!!!
i would check the resivoir like Sebba said, that's the first thing that came to mind for me also. If it's low add some and bleed your clutch.
|
RE: I THINK ITS CRANKWALK!!!!!!!!
You dont even have to bleed it. Just leave the cap off it and pump the pedal and you will see bubbles rise to the top. That will work
|
RE: I THINK ITS CRANKWALK!!!!!!!!
Ok Sebba I retract my last comment. I've only heard of people not being able to change gears; which would make sense especially if the thrust bearing has been chewed to hell. However, I've never heard of the clutch pedal getting stuckto the floor because our clutch system is hydraulic assisted.

RE: I THINK ITS CRANKWALK!!!!!!!!
it would get stuck to the floor b/c all of the fluid has been drained some how... leak, time, whatever. but without any fluid you can't disengage the clutch and when you push it to the floor there is no pressure to bring it back to you.
