Outlander 2008 MMCS error
Hello guys, I have 2008 Outlander with the Mitsubishi MultiMedia Center System - the highest version including sat nav, Europe version. However 2 days ago, after morning start, it started doing this issue:
Screen pops on - starting background rolls on, then shows short message at the bottom - Sat Nav Screen preparing and after that, there pops a message saying that it is difficult to read the hard disk and I should wait a while for the system to restore. However the MMCS just switches off after few seconds and restarts and this very same error happens again and again and again.
I tried to hold all combinations of all buttons, to enter any sort of "reset" or "restore menu", but nothing is working, when I hold set+info for 5 seconds, it sends me into system menu, but I am not able to do there anything, it restarts again the same way after few seconds.
I tried to disconnect and remove the hard drive, didn't help anything.
I also tried to disconnect the main battery for 60 minutes, after that, it looked like the system is setting up, but after few minutes, the same restart loop started again.
is there any way how to make some restart or how to at least start that MMCS without hard drive - I don't need the maps and stored music, just to be able to listen to radio and rear camera could show up.
Will be glad for any tips guys!
Thanks.
Tom
