2013 Mega Foods Modified Car Shows, Eau Claire WI
Mega Foods and Barely Legal Customs Car Club are combining again to put together a car show series to be held at the 2 Mega Foods locations on Hastings and Clairemont in Eau Claire WI.
Time: Last Saturday of the month from 3-6ish. The afternoon show was chosen so that the diehard car show people can still go to a normal local car show, and the people that just come out to cruise can come out a little early and hit up this show. Mega stated that this time fits best with the busy time in the store.
Targeted Vehicles: Tuner, Sport Compact, Highly Modified and Race Cars. They do not want to step on the toes of the Burger King style show. They want it to be the vehicles that kids think are cool and are modified. The BK shows are more based to 50s cruise in nights. We do not want to see "stock" cars unless they are a 90s and newer sports car because the show is based on the newer cars.
Awards: The trophies will be about 2ft tall and 3 pedestal. Something that is impressive, but not over the top like a HIN/NOPI style show that are around 5ft tall. No one car can win more than one trophy each show.
Best of show BLC Choice: Chosen by the Barely Legal Customs members in attendance.
Best of show Mega Choice: Chosen by the Mega Employees in attendance.
Best of show People's Choice: Ballots to be given out to people in attendance and store customers. Anyone can pick one car of their choice and votes will be counted
Price: Free! Plus there will be added perks and coupons for registering your vehicle.
