We had the solid motor mounts in a few cars here, and it's really not as much of a vibration as you'd think. It makes the car sound slightly different, but that's about it. The car will also feel faster.

BTW, 3sx just re-sell's Maximal Performance motor mounts. Buy directly from Maximal Performance. It'll be cheaper.

You won't notice it after 2 weeks.

I've been wary myself about getting solids in a daily/weekend car... is it really not that bad?

Your gonna notice a lot more rattles. Some people can't stand them but a majority of the people out there won't go back to stockers.

I've heard of people using two solids and (cant remember if we have 3 or 4 mounts) stock ones to try and damper the vibration.

we have 4 mounts. one in the front subframe, one on the rear subframe, one on the trans, and another to the driver side frame.

Some people do just buy 2, which is more than enough to keep the engine from rocking. But you may as well replace all 4 in you're in there. They're not entirely too expensive.

We had a modded 98 Vr-4 with solid motor mounts, it's really not that noticeable, and not bad at all. It makes you feel more... in tuned with the car... if that makes any sense. LOL They're great, I definitely recommend getting them. Or poly mounts. But I think the solid's are actually cheaper through Maximal Performance if I'm not mistaken.
