well im looking at a 92 vr4 with 178,xxx miles. the driver side window doesnt work, and the active aero seems to need to be replaced. right between the aero and the rear window its oxidized and has small rust spots. well the driver seat is torn a little. and the lights work for the ecs, and the aero and stuff. but im not sure if its working or not (how can i tell?) and i want to find out if the aws works, and the aero light is on,(is this ok?) and what else should i look for? he wants 2850$ obo, what should i offer? thanks o and hows the reliability for the 5 speed, and the whats the potential of the 1g? because thats all i can afford lol. thanks

Thanks guys, but i think i WILL offer 1500$ and see what he says, because i know a mechanic that works DIRT cheap, and will fix the body and paint the car n rims for 1100$. and then the parts i get at wholesale, and he will fix the car for cheap. so what do you guys think? 1500$ a good offer?

Instead of saving money to modify it, you'd better save up for maintenance and repairs.
If the ECS functions, all you have to do is hit the switch, you should be able to notice how much stiffer the suspension is.
Stealths don't have the active aero, but from what I have read, it is usually the front that gets messed up. That may be why the light is on, but I don't know.
When you take a curve fast, you'll be able to notice the AWS. It is very subdued, but is noticeable since the rear wheels turn in the same direction as the front wheels.
As for potential...that all depends upon how deep your pockets are.
Offer him $2500.
