Acouple of years agoI was walking to my friends house and i noticed a red Mitsubishi 3000gt basic model for sale for $600. i talked to the owner and he told me that it needs third gear, a new clutch, new tires, and it has some body damage. once he told me the price i hopped im my car (at that time was a old beater from a high school friend which i crushed and got some money from) .i was just recently thinking was that a good idea of me to have bought that car 10 minutes later?

 

bad decision, my opinion. unless you are a 3000GT mechanic/miracle worker. Or if you know someone who is.

 

the clutch and third gear alone will run you a fortune. tires arent too too bad for 16", and body damage can be dealt with when more money is flowing in. but for the price ifyou are really set on it then its cool but if your looking for a daily i would look for something more reliable. that car seems like a money pit.
