i just got a 95 3000gt SL for 500$ the engine is already taken out of it. The old engine was fine except when the guy took it out he left it sit outside uncovered and now it has a bunch of rust throught out it. I would like to know what year engines can go into them i know it has to be a 6G72 non turbo. but can all 91-99 engines go into it. or can it only be certin ones like 94-96?

Yes all the 6G72 engines will go into it as long as they are not the turbo engines.

 

If you need a engine let me know. I have one but its got 117 thousand miles on it but il sell cheap. Still ran real strong tho. Has a 3sx pulley on it also

 

how much do you want for the engine? did it blow any smoke?( i just need to know if i need to rebuild it) and where is it located? i live in york,pa

 

Wait 93 up will work in them remember sensors are in diff places in the 92 and below. I ran into this with mine.

 

I actually live in dillsburg,pa all but 20 minutes away. I wil take really anything. lik 400. It never blew smoke anything and i never had any trouble with it the only thing is 117k but of course these engines run for ever. The problem would be getting it out of the car its not moveable right now being a parts car and all. Just let me know what you think. I also might be able to get a cherry picker if you are interested.

 

what year car is the engine in? is the engine disconnected or not. Is the engine in good conditiion like no rust and running condition. because when i went to buy this car the guy said on the ad that the engine just need to be put togeather and it would be good to go. but when i got there the engine was filled with water and was rusted throught out the whole engine.so when could i come over and check out the condition of it . send me an email it is gsxspeed21@yahoo.com

I have a TCL ECI multi 3000 engine I want to replace a ECI multi 3000gt engine. Any advice on comparability?
