How to bleed a clutch system?
 

Anyone have a website, or a lot of times on their hands to write, about how to do bleed the clutch system for a 96 3000GT SL, if that even matters?

Having some ginormous clutch problems. Any help would be appreciated.

If you want to make bubbles surface then simply remove the reservoir cap... and pump the clutch for 5 mins (literally 5) Bring a second person to make sure you have bubbles surfacing.

Um its fairly strait forward and the same process goes for any car really. All you do is the follwing (non specific, sorry)

Buy a bottle of fluid, you may need to get under the car, loosen teh bleed nipple on the master cyl or where ever it is on ur car, fill up the clutch reservoir, pump the clutch repeatidly untill all is flushed out.

If you want to replace with new fluid then just drain it first

This is wrong. Constantly pumping the clutch pedal with the bleeder screw open will only suck in air at the bleeder screw once the clutch pedal is released. There is a certain sequence that must be done and it will require 2 people to do it. One person (A) needs to be in the car working the clutch pedal, the second person (B) needs to be at the clutch slave cylinder under the hood. With the clutch master cylinder full of fluid- (B) opens the slave cylinder bleeder screw and waits. (A) pushes the clutch pedal to the floor and holds it there (brake fluid will shoot out of the bleeder as the pedal is depressed)- (B) tightens the slave cylinder bleeder screw to prevent air reentry (A) pulls the clutch pedal back up to it's resting position. REPEAT until there are no bubbles and the hydraulic fluid is absolutely clean. It works best if both A and B communicate vocally so that the timing of the clutch action and the bleeder open and closing is perfect. Good luck
