Come on guys, not all hondas are that bad. Honda actually has one of the highest reliablility records and their cars last about 300,000 miles with normal maintenace. I've heard of accords hitting 550,000 miles on all origional motor and tranny. I kinda like Civics, not my favorite Honda though. If you wanna get a Honda, go with the Prelude. It has great styling and luxury. It's not a bad car stock. Throw in a few bolt ons and you're good to go. The only thing about hondas is they lack torque. You have to rev like mad to get anywhere. They outpower most other imports in their class without the use of turbos. Mitsubishi knows how to make great cars and motors too. I got a Chrysler with a 3.0 Mitsu V6 and it has 174,000 origional miles and refuses to die. The choice is yours. Honda, Mitsubishi, Toyota, Mazda...they're all good. Good luck with whatever you decide to get.

yea, honda's are nice and all, but from what ive heard the engine wears out faster than a dsm ever will, course around here wit all the idiot drivers its not suprising, just dont get a civic, please, they are way over rated and you cant get near the power out of em like you can a dsm...........

If you take take of a Honda Motor, it can live a long time. I've heard of
300,000 to 500,000 miles coming out of an origional Honda motor with
normal maintenance, no rebuilds, and on origional trannys. Not all Hondas
will go the distance like that, but it is possible.

Dont go honda, I have a stock 97 3000 gt, and I just beat a honda civic with nos in it, and I didnt stomp it but I still won... It seems though when one thing happens in one week a few things happen, if you own a gt dont race saabs, I raced one and afterwords, the ****er came up on me around a bend (after the race was over) I was doing about 40 normal speed, and he was doing about a buck 20 and he slammed the side of my car and then rolled his, then later that week my tire blew out on the rear right, but I will tell you I have not found very many cars that feel so comfortable with handaling at a buck fifty or higher they handle beutifuly reguardless, dont go honda one to many people have them they are way overrated and everything that can be done to those cars basicaly has been, The cool thing about 3000 gt's is there are not hundreds of them in every town, you dont seem family driving them all over, and though they are hard to get parts for performance, they hold there own, you may not want to keep the 3000 gt, but think of it this way do you think the window would have blown out if you hadnt rear ended that guy, maybe the accident gave it a pressure crack somewhere and the bass just finished it out... anyway enough of my bull****... dont get a honda
