Yes, My shocks went bad, so I just got the regular ones ( not the ones that are tied into the sport/touring system ) They were a lot cheaper than the electric ones. Now that sport light in my dash just blinks. I do have it though.

Just wondering---Is it DOHC OR SOHC? I was thinking on MAYBE doing a conversion that way I can get a turbo kit on it. (no known turbo kit for SOHC) I have been talking to a guy named Brian La Fuente who's 3kgt tt was in modified mag. Since he has his own business, I called him up and asked him about a bunch of stuff for my car and he said that if I want to get power this is the way. I am located in Jacksonville, NC that is why I ask. My best friend and I converted an 86 supra from n/a to turbo. Pain in the ***. We did it though... and are happy with the results. To see the supra go to

pg 4. All the other pages are my 3kgt

I'm not sure if you want my motor. Check out the post " It doesn't get any worse than this " it is a couple of post down from this one. Had some problems with it, but if you want to buy the car as is make me an offer. 145,000 miles, new water pump, timming belt, battery, starter, motor mounts, harmonic balancer, struts, kumo tires, The bad thing is it burns oil!!!!! I'm just tired of looking at it. I thought about just buying used motor for it. If you are interested in it, just email me at routhsata@yahoo.com. I don't check this forum alot. I'm in Greensboro.

O yeah, it is DOHC

I really don't have a clue what to do with it. I drove it about 3 times in the last 2 months. I have a lot of money tied into it, I love my car, but who knows!!!!!

I should have known it was a DOCH considering the subject of your thread is "parting out 94 3000gt SL" Anyway, I got my slap in the face for today.
I want your motor, but recently (this month) I have to pay for tags and also insurance to go along with it. I don't really care what kind of things that are wrong with the motor now, because everything will be replaced besides the crank (and obviously the block) but I don't really know if I can take this task on right now. There are a lot of things to be changed and a lot of money involved, besides the fact that I will need another car to drive for a while, so I am probably going to have to back down until I am able to save some more funds again. Oh yeah---this is a little off topic, but Insurance PISSES ME OFF. I have never had to use it, but my insurance is almost as much as my car-payment and I only have 1 ticket (for running a stop sign). I'm in the wrong business-- I am going to become an insurance agent. LOL
