Default performance improvements

This forum has been real helpful with question in the past. Fixing up a 94 stealth 4 valve non-turbo. Belongs to future son-in-law. He thinks I sold it for him. I am fixing up and giving back to him at Christmas. I have had basic mechanical stuff all fixed (water pump, computer, timing belts)and am painting the car myself and putting in a new leather interior. Any suggestions on prioity of items to do to spice up performance. Thinking add on stuff not inside engine stuff. Any suggestions on best suppliers? Any idea on good paint schemes?

Thanks. Want this to come out right for the kid as a nice way to welcome into the family.

a downpipe, cat-backexhaust, intake, light weight crank pulley, lowering springs and wheels should spice things up for an SL. check out ipsmotorsports.net, dynamicracing.com, or 3sx.com for specific parts. Solid Red or Black always looks good. I really like metallic blue as well.

I personally owned a 943000GTSL and always wanted to drop it and install 18" 5Zigen FN01RCs on it, but I bought a VR-4 and did that to it instead.

Pretty mucbh agree with the above except I am 100% against any type of underdrive pulley on any car other than a dedicated race car.
